This is a three-volume softcover set of The History of the Lewis and Clark Expedition by Meriwether Lewis and William Clark, edited by Elliott Coues. This classic historical work documents the landmark early-19th-century exploration of the American West and remains one of the most important primary sources on the expedition. All three volumes feature illustrated covers, and Volumes I and II each include a folding map bound into the front of the book, as shown in the photos.
