Claudia Adams
When Claudia Adams came to Hollywood to pursue her dream as an actress there were no real roles for women. Never afraid of an uphill battle, she decided to write her own scripts containing roles for strong women characters. She had nothing against roles portraying woman as prostitutes and eye candy but at the very least, she knew she could write them better than most. Ha!
She felt that the early, glamorous women of the Golden Age of Hollywood had somehow disappeared. She wanted to bring back the brain! The wit!
With the help of Tony Bill, whom she had never met before he read her first screenplay, Claudia C. Adams immediately broke into show-biz writing for “Knots Landing” and “Cagney & Lacey.”
People were reacting to her strong women! It was a fairytale Hollywood beginning, one most people could only dream of.
Unfortunately, Claudia turned 40 and her luck ran out as fast as it started. She had been hoping for a longer shelf-life as a writer but “30 seconds of fame” seemed to be a good analogy for life in Hollywood. She stopped getting work as a writer before she could blow the candles out on her cake.
Not one to shy away from a challenge (aka brick wall), Claudia decided to become a writer/producer/director. That way she could hire herself, which, after doing an extensive background check, she did. (All good, except the job doesn’t pay and she hates her boss.)
